15. GENERAL PLAN UPDATE OVERVIEW <br />Verny Carvajal, Senior Planner, provided a status report on the General Plan Update <br />which is long-term blueprint for the City's vision of the future. He shared short video on <br />the General Plan which discussed the various elements to be included in the plan. Mr. <br />Carvajal further provided a summary of Community Outreach strategy including the <br />Executive Summary that summarizes the community input, noted there was a youth - <br />based summer program, and spoke on the urban design and historic preservation <br />elements and provided a link to access the community access report at <br />www.santaana.org/generalplan. <br />ABSENCES <br />16.
