Highly intact and reflective of the Craftsman design philosophy, this one-story, Craftsman bungalow features a marked horizontal emphasis. A side gabled roof is characterized by low pitch, with rafters and three -layered beams exposed in the overhanging eaves. Centered over the fagade, a large, front -gabled dormer contains a tripartite opening consisting of a broad louvered vent flanked by fixed sash. Vertical wood slat vents are tucked into the peaks of the side gable ends. Clapboard sheathes the building, with shingles cladding the gable faces. Spanning the fagade, the front porch is sheltered by a lower pitched extension of the main roof. Elephantine posts atop clapboard covered pedestals support the porch roof. Additional pedestals frame the central entry. A wood slat railing encloses the porch space. Large brackets atop the porch supports are angled, and with the porch beam, form a modified arch. Broadly proportioned tripartite windows whose transoms feature distinctive, diamond patterned lights, flank the slightly offset entry. Three small, rectangular windows are set into the front door in a stepped motif. Side elevations display primarily double -hung sash windows, in a variety of configurations.
