This is why we worked with City
staff in the past year to engage our neighbors. With our assistance, over 70 of our neighbors, including
adults and children participated in an input meeting and provided shared our vision for the park on 6" and
Lacy. We have consistently made a recommendation for open space that will serve as a place for
our children to play in a safe space. Our recommendations have included skate amenities, a
playground, and a bathroom.
We see the development of a new park in our Lacy neighborhood as a necessity for everyone in our
neighborhood.
