Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2017-05 as conditioned. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2017-06 as conditioned. <br />Executive Summary <br />Robert Bisno with Cabrillo Community Partners, LLC, is requesting approval of Site Plan Review No. <br />2016-03 and Variance Nos. 2017-05 and 2017-06 to allow the construction of The Madison, a seven - <br />story, 260 -unit mixed-use development at 200 North Cabrillo Park Drive. Pursuant to the Metro East <br />Mixed -Use Overlay (MEMU) Zone Section 8.1, a site plan review application is required and subject <br />to review and approval by the Planning Commission. In addition, the applicant is requesting approval <br />of two variances to allow a 14 -percent reduction in required parking and to permit a 30 -foot side yard <br />setback in lieu of a maximum 10 -foot side yard setback.
