DAVID BENAVIDES <br />VICENTE SARMIENTO <br />JOSE SOLORIO <br />SAL TINAJERO (5:08 P.M.) <br />JUAN VILLEGAS (5:12 P.M.) <br />COUNCILMEMBERS Absent: <br />NONE <br />STAFF Present: <br />RAUL GODINEZ, II, City Manager <br />CRISTINA TALLEY, Acting City Attorney <br />NORMA MITRE, Assistant Clerk of the Council <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Tim Johnson, expressed support to continue pressure on Southern Orange County and <br />move towards proportionality based as opposed to homeless based, believes a portion <br />of the 100- acres site in the City of Irvine is suitable for an emergency homeless <br />shelter. Is in support of litigation and voiced that his child and wife would also like to <br />safely attend the Santa Ana Library. <br />Abigail Aleman, appreciates Council is taking action. Expressed that Santa Ana parks <br />and streets require attention and money to be used for maintenance; unfair other cities <br />bring their residents to our city and cause damage. Voiced the need for the City of <br />Santa Ana to be safe and clean; and is in support of litigation. <br />CLOSED SESSION ITEMS - The Brown Act permits legislative bodies to discuss certain matters without <br />members of the public present. The City Council finds, based on advice from the City Attorney, that discussion in <br />open session of the following matters will prejudice the position of the City in existing and anticipated litigation: <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />1OB-1 <br />APRIL 3, 2018 <br />
