INSURANCE NO'S ON FILE <br />WORK MAY N�.7 PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE; APP 16 2010 <br />5,ltAj,. <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on <br />December 19, 2017, by and between U.S. Security Associates, ("Contractor"), and the City of <br />Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the <br />Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE <br />SECURITY GUARD SERVICES WITH U.S. SECURITY ASSOCIATES <br />A-2017-351 <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #A-2017-130, dated May 16, 2017, ("Agreement"), by <br />which Contractor agreed to provide unarmed security guard services for various City <br />facilities. <br />B. The Agreement provided for unarmed security services by Contractor which began on June <br />1, 2017 and will expire on May 31, 2020, The Agreement allows for the City to request <br />additional services in a writing executed by the City Manager, <br />C. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to provide additional funding to the contingency <br />amount to provide for additional temporary services being performed by the Contractor at <br />625 S. Cypress. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 3, Compensation, is amended to include an additional contingency amount of <br />$17,255 (original was $22,800) for additional services during the term of the Agreement. <br />The contingency amount will now be $40,055 a year. The total annual sum to be expended <br />under the Agreement shall not exceed $1,171,787. <br />2. Except as modified by this .First Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />[Signature page to follow] <br />PaV 1 of 2 <br />
