in the same manner as any other member of the City's administrative staff might <br />render assistance. <br />J. Consultant will counsel the City regarding appearance by City personnel and/or the <br />City Council before the Legislature, legislative committees, and/or administrative <br />agencies. Consultant will arrange for appointments and accommodations for City <br />personnel and/or the City Council, as necessary. <br />K. Consultant will contact state agencies on the City's behalf when City applications are <br />under consideration by such agencies and otherwise take the necessary steps to <br />obtain the most favorable consideration of such applications. <br />L. Consultant shall provide legislative training for City Personnel and/or the City Council <br />that shall include the following: Legislative Process, Budget Process, and Legislative <br />Analysis. <br />M. In fulfilling responsibilities under this Agreement, the Consultant will act in the name <br />of the City of Santa Ana and with the title State Representative to the City Manager. <br />N. Consultant will utilize its extensive relationships with other local government <br />organizations, policy groups and forums to advance the City's shared priorities and <br />initiatives. <br />To further the Scope of Services listed above, the consultant will identify funding <br />opportunities, advance legislative priorities, and help the City participate in initiatives in <br />the following key state agencies: <br />Programmatic Opportunities <br />California Employment Development Department <br />Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act <br />Job Corps <br />Employment Development Department — Workforce Services Branch <br />California Workforce Development Board <br />Vocational Training & Work Experience Program <br />California Department of Food and Agriculture <br />CalCannabis <br />California Department of Public Health <br />Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion <br />Manufactured Cannabis Safety Branch <br />California Office of Emergency Management Services <br />Victim Services Programs <br />California State Library Services Board <br />Library Services & Technology Act <br />California Office of Traffic Safety <br />Pae 12 of 14 <br />E HIBIT 2 <br />
