FOR A PARKING METER <br />MAINTENANCE TRUCK (NON -GENERAL <br />FUND) <br />(SPECIFICATION NO. 18-020) <br />(STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 2) <br />i <br />I Y MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />❑ As Recommended <br />❑ As Amended <br />❑ Ordinance on 151 Reading <br />❑ Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />❑ Implementing Resolution <br />❑ Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Authorize a one-time purchase and payment of purchase order to Guaranty Chevrolet Motors, <br />Inc., for the procurement of one Chevrolet Colorado truck in the amount of $39,415, subject to <br />non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />The Finance and Management Services Agency, Facilities, Fleet Maintenance and Central <br />Stores Division is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, repair, and replacement of <br />vehicles, trucks, and maintenance equipment. The Finance and Management Services Agency <br />is in need of a truck to replace an existing maintenance vehicle for the Parking Meter <br />Maintenance Division. The existing maintenance vehicle was purchased in 2013 and has proven <br />to be unreliable and is no longer in service. The replacement Colorado will include all necessary <br />lighting along with tool storage compartments and a Tommy Gate bed lift to safely lift the meters <br />and collected money when needed. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on February 20, 2018, on the City's online bid <br />management and publication system.
