Asked staff to clarify disposition to properties. <br />Opined need to look at long term benefit to community. <br />• Councilmember Jose Solorio, opined need to look into providing community <br />benefit use, require an operation plan, maintenance fund and development <br />plan if and when land is sold to nonprofits; inclusion of revision of land <br />clause, neighborhood association inclusion, and exclusion of participants <br />who have interest in the stake of the outcome. <br />• Mayor Pro Tem Michelle Martinez, opined need to everything possible to <br />place properties on tax roles, City of Santa Ana does not have the means to <br />upkeep or manage properties, and city is financially constrained. <br />COMMENTS <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />• Dale Helvig, expressed opposition to 2525 Main Street development project. <br />• Joe A., addressed City Council to request assistance to neighborhood parking issue. <br />• Brennan Sizemore, shared with City Council the national campaign for financial literacy <br />program. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 29 APRIL 3, 2018 <br />
