Renewal of Emergency Solutions Grants Program for Fiscal Year 2018 — 2019 <br />May 15, 2018 <br />Page 3 <br />2017 - 2018 were required to re -submit a budget and program summary for FY 2018 - 2019 ESG <br />funding. <br />A list of agencies recommended for renewal funding for FY 2018 - 2019 is provided as Exhibit 1. <br />The funding recommendations are based upon the final percentage score for the FY 2017 - 2018 <br />applications and the current needs identified by staff. The allocation is broken down by category <br />to provide more detail on how the funds are allocated for eligible ESG activities. A template of <br />the grant agreement that will be executed after approval by City Council is provided as Exhibit 2. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item allows the City to meet Goal #5 - Community Health, Livability, Engagement <br />& Sustainability, Objective #6 (Focus projects and programs on improving the health and <br />wellness of all residents). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds will be budgeted and available in the Emergency Solutions Grants account (no. 13518785 - <br />various) upon execution of a grant agreement between the City and HUD and adoption of the FY <br />2018-19 annual budget.
