Potentially reevaluating existing caps on net
(new) development in the MEMU.
Recommended that the City Council take one of then
following actions:
1. Approve the Metro East Mixed Use (MEMU) Overlay Zone
amendments and expansion project as originally
proposed by:
A. Adopting a resolution certifying the SEIR and approving
General Plan Amendment No. 2018-03
B. Adopting an ordinance approving Amendment
Application No. 2018-06 and Zoning Ordinance
Amendment No. 2018-03
2. Continue the item and direct staff work with the
Economic Development, Infrastructure, Budget and
Technology Committee (EDIBT) and develop
recommendations for refining the proposed MEMU
project before returning to the City Council for
consideration within 30 days (Committee
recommendation).
