Sincerely, Karen Romero Estrada Research and Policy Analyst OCCO RD strong voice For a fair economy As of the end of this fiscal year, the Low and Moderate Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF) has a total of $5,958,193. According to the report provided in the agenda, item 80A, the City of Santa Ana spent about $10,848 on low income units and $164,751 on monitoring and administrative purposes in 2018 from the LMIHAF. How will the City use and prioritize the remaining LMIHAF funds in a way that furthers the City's goals for meeting affordable housing needs? Specifically, what is the City's plan and process for producing more rental units for Low Income (LI), Very Low Income (VLI) and Extremely Low Income (ELI) households? How is the city prioritizing the production of rental units for specifically LI, VLI, and ELI households in the real properties included in the RFP #18-056?
