I am the owner of Wursthaus in Santa Ana located at 305 E. 4th street. We are a german style
restaurant and bar that has been a thriving success since 2015. 1 am contacting you to inform
you of our wishes to build a patio outside of our establishment.
We are planning to build a beautiful enclosure with dim lighting, colorful succulents, wood and
iron. We estimate this patio to hold approximately 25 of our patrons. We are hoping the process
to build this patio will estimate to 30-60 days of construction. This addition to our restaurant
would enhance the entrance of Downtown Santa Ana, as it is one of the first buildings to be
seen upon entering. The patio will also be contributing to the overall look and feel of the
presence of the Plaza Calle Cuatro. We feel that this addition to Downtown Santa Ana will add
vibrancy, safety, and a stronger sense of community to this corner.
You will have the opportunity to approve this outdoor patio license agreement on the 11/5 City
Council meeting. We greatly appreciate your consideration.
