Review calendar of regularly scheduled City Council Meetings in 2020. 2. Cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meeting for January 7, 2020; August 4, 2020; and November 3, 2020. 3. Direct staff to post Notice of Cancellation(s). The City Council hereby waives notice of said meetings as required by the government code. DISCUSSION Consistent with past practice, the City Council has cancelled the first meeting of the year, election night, and a meeting during the summer months. If the City Council cancels any regularly scheduled meeting, they will resume consideration of agenda items at their next regular scheduled meeting. The City Council reserves the right to cancel any other meetings and notify the public as legally required. The 2020 Master Calendar and agendas for all regular and special meetings will be posted on the City's website at: https://www.santa-ana.org/cc/city-meetings. City Council Meetings are typically held in the Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana and Council Committee meetings at City Hall, Ross Annex, Room 1600, Santa Ana or as otherwise noted on the agenda. STRATEGIC PLAN Approval of this agreement allows us to meet Goal #5.
