We are writing to express our support for item 75C, a public hearing to adopt an updated subdivision
ordinance and to streamline the tentative map review process. Specifically, we support the language to
allow for small lot subdivisions within section 34-56 of the municipal code.
Shea Properties has been a long-time property owner in Santa Ana. We are committed to investing in
the City and to providing economic development opportunities through the redevelopment of industrial
and commercial buildings. The enhancements proposed to the postage stamp subdivision map will assist
us in meeting our business needs and allow us to better provide quality investment projects in Santa
Ana.
