Public Comment for Agenda Item WS #2 Measure X - Summary Report
My Name is Alonzo Lugo, Measure X Commissioner.
It is a great honor to serve on this inaugural committee, tasked with such an important role - to advocate for the
people of Santa Ana where Measure X funds are allocated.
In my opinion, this committee has done yeoman's work to highlight the areas of opportunity that will deliver on
the dream that is the City of Santa Ana. Please take into careful consideration the recommendations provided
and find a way to deliver on the ballot language citizens voted for; "To maintain effective 9-1-1 response;
retaining firefighters and police officers; addressing homelessness; fixing streets; maintaining parks, youth, and
senior services..."
