Dear Planning Commissioners,
I also agree with the City of Santa Ana Planning Staff recommendation that the One
Broadway Project should be approved.
Timing is perfect for this project! Being in the opportunity zone, the housing need, and the
shift of people migrating to mixed use projects is ideal for a project of this magnitude. As you
can see; other cities that are innovative, progressive and prosperous have already made this
shift for this type of product in their cities. Santa Ana should not miss this opportunity.
Key points for consideration:
The project is already approved for an Office Tower, we now have the chance to
tailor the use for a more conducive use for our city .
The economy of the city will improve with more residential tenants spending money to
our local merchants.
Traffic will be reduced. Residential use will mean less cars than office use; simple fact
Already mitigation in place for traffic-calming studies in surrounding neighborhoods
I trust the Planning Commissioners will see the numerous benefits this project will bring to the
City of Santa Ana and their residents. Please approve the City of Santa Ana Planning Staff's
recommendations and more forward. Thank you for your time and considerations.
Respectfully,
William Beaubeaux
