Good afternoon members of the commission my name is Eddy Pena and I am a business representative for the Heat
and Frost Insulators of Southern California LOCAL 5.
We stand in support of the project for many reasons , It would provide job opportunities with good pay for the
Residents of the city of Santa Ana ,
Local hire opportunities lead to lifetime careers in the building trades as we do not discriminate and give everyone
a chance to make a better life for themselves .
At this time professional labor is needed more than ever before these jobs must be conducted safely and with the
local residence and city safety is at its highest priority .
The tradesmen in trades women of the building trades have built some of most the most iconic and vital buildings
in Southern California including the Wilshire Grand , LA live , Kaiser Anaheim , Kaiser Sand Canyon and many
other safely built projects .
