I am submitting this email on behalf of our members who reside in the City of Santa Ana who are currently on the road heading home from work who are working in the adjacent counties. This email is in regards to the One Broadway Plaza Mixed-use project located at 1109 N. Broadway. We are in support of the project, the general plan amendment and the changes recommended by staff. We are also in support of a Labor agreement for this project. This project will provide good paying jobs for our Men and Women, Veterans, Apprentices and our fellow tradesmen and Women who live in Santa Ana. Not only will a project like this bring money into the city, it will also keep our Carpenters close to their homes, so they can enjoy their Families and their city. Spending their money at local businesses and venues keeping the Community strong! And one last thing a project this size will need to be built by Qualified and Reputable contractors who provide a skilled and trained workforce who Builds Better and Builds Community Wealth!
