This notice is being sent to those who live or own property within 500 feet of the project site or who have expressed an interest in the proposed action. We encourage you to contact us prior to the Public Hearing if you have any questions. Planning Commission Action: The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive public testimony, and will take action on the item described below. Project Location: 3390 South Bristol Street located in the Planning Shopping Center (C-4) zoning district. Project Applicant: Tait and Associates., representing Raising Claws Proposed Project: The applicant is requesting approval of Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 2020-12 to allow a Type 41 (On-Sale Beer and Wine – Eating Place) Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) license for the sale of beer and wine for on-premises consumption at a new restaurant (Raising Claws). Environmental Impact: The Planning Commission will consider a determination that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1 of the CEQA Guidelines – Existing Facilities. A Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 2020-14 will be filed for this project. Meeting Details: This matter will be heard on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. Due to Governor Gavin Newsom's Executive Order and the City Council's Proclamation of Local Emergency, we can no longer offer an in-person meeting location for the community to attend public meetings.
