SUBJECT: FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 2020‐01, Bowery Mixed‐Use Project
There are eight areas in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) that are listed as Significant and
Unavoidable in the areas of: Air Quality, Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Transportation. Please take the
time to understand why this is and do not settle for the minimum requirements. Santa Ana deserves
better
Furthermore, the DIER states, “The Development Agreement that is required for implementation of the
proposed Project” [page 1‐20]. I don’t see a Development Agreement being discussed.
Follow the City standards for parking. The developer has over 14 acres of land. They should not require
special consideration.
