7 THIS AMENDMENT NO. 9 is effective as of this day of , 2020
8 ("Effective Date"), by and between the Orange County Transportation Authority, (hereinafter referred to
9 as "AUTHORITY") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of
10 California (hereinafter referred to as "CITY").
11 WITNESSETH:
12 WHEREAS, by Cooperative Agreement No. C-6-0069 dated June 12, 2006, as last changed by
13 Amendment No. 8, dated September 18, 2018, AUTHORITY and CITY entered into a cooperative
14 agreement for the Bristol Street Widening Project; and
15 WHEREAS, CITY and AUTHORITY agree to extend the term of the Agreement by twelve (12)
16 months to allow for completion of the work:
17 NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually understood and agreed by AUTHORITY and CITY that
18 Cooperative Agreement No. C-6-0069 is hereby amended in the following particulars only:
19 1. Amend ARTICLE 2. SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS page 3 of 26, paragraph B, line 3, last
20 changed by Amendment No. 8, dated September 18, 2018, to delete "December 31, 2020" as the
21 expiration date of the agreement and, in lieu thereof, insert "December 31, 2021."
