Hi,
I am writing to convey the lost value of providing 2 hours of validated parking.
Based on February month-to-date numbers, there were 12,739 tickets with the 2 hour validation. Of
the 12,739 tickets, reducing the time parameter from 2 hours to 1 hour would have resulted in 6,894
revenue-generating tickets.
With the current rate table of $.75 per 30 minutes ($1.50 an hour), the 4 parking structures could
have generated an additional $10,341 (6,894 @$1.50) in parking revenue.
