• POLICE DEPARTMENT ASSUMED OPERATIONAL CONTROL IN 2013

o IN 2018 THE PD REVAMPED DEPARTMENT -WIDE TRAINING
o Increased focus on topics to reduce liability, specifically driving and use of force
o New program reached full implementation in 2019

Facility Improvement Needs
o THE PD TRAINING DIVISION HAS IMPROVED CLASSROOMS WITH
UPDATED CHAIRS AND TABLES, PAINT AND REPLACED WEATHER
AGED SIDING
o RESTROOM ROOF AND FLOOR REPAIRED BUT FURTHER REPAIR
WOULD BE INEFFECTIVE
o Restroom is currently operational but presents a safety concern due to floor and ADA
access ramp degradation
