•Section1303oftheCityofSantaAnaMunicipalCoderequires
thatbeforegrantinganyfranchise,theCityCouncilshallpassa
resolutiondeclaringitsintentiontograntthesame,statingthe
nameoftheproposedgrantee,thecharacterofthefranchise,
andthetermsandconditionsuponwhichitisproposedtobe
granted.
•ThroughtheCity’ssolidwasteservicesrequestforproposal
process,theCityintendstoawardasolidwastefranchiseon
August17,2021tooneoffourproposers:
