I am a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of California; I am
over the age of eighteen years, and not a party to or interested in the above
entitled matter. I am the principal clerk of the printer and publisher of the
ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER, a newspaper published in the English
language in the city of SANTA ANA, county of ORANGE, and adjudged a
newspaper of general circulation as defined by the laws of the State of
California by the Superior Court of the County of ORANGE, State of California,
under date 06/20/1922, Case No. 13421. That the notice, of which the
annexed is a printed copy, has been published in each regular and entire issue
of said newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on the following dates,

public to participate in the decision.
making process. The following notice
is being provided so that you can ask
questions, make comments and stay
informed about projects that might be
important to you. We encourage you to
contact us prior to the Public Hearing if
you have any questions.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The City of
Santa Ana Is proposing to modify Chapter
41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code
(SAMC) to require a conditional use
permit (CUP) for light processing
(mayditigh facilities In the Light Industrial
(Mti) zoning district The proposal
requires adoption of an ordinance
amendment to Chapter 41 to enact the
code amendments to Sections 41-472
and 41-472.5 of the SAMC.
Pro act Location:The proposed changes
are Citywide.
Pro set Applicant City of Santa Ana.
Proposed Pro iadtf ion: Approve ZOA
No. 2021-01 to adopt an ordinance to
amend Sections 41-472 and 41-472.5 of
the Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC) to
require a conditional use permit (CUP) for
Light Processing Facilities in the Light
Industrial (M-1) zoning district
Environmental Impact Pursuant to the
California Envlranmonlal Quality Act
( GEQi and the stale CEQA Guidelines,
the adoption of this Ordinance Is exempt
from DEQA review pursuant to California
Code of Regulations section 15051(b)(3).

certainty that there is no possibility that
the project may have a significant effect
on the environment. As a result, a Notice
of Exemption will be filed upon adoption
of this ordinance.
Meeting Time and Date: This matter will
be heard on Ichancy, June 15. 2021 at
5:45 p.m. or thereafter in the City Council
Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa
Ana, California 92701. All interested
