• September 15, 2020: Staff presents an informational report to the
City Council. The City Council directs staff to return with additional
information and engage the community with a feedback survey.
• December 15, 2020: Staff presents an informational report to the City
Council and shares findings from the feedback survey. The City
Council directs staff to return with additional information and conduct
additional community engagement.
• May -September 2021: Staff releases anew feedback survey, attends
six community events to connect with residents and share the survey,
and hosts a virtual community forum and panel.

group on the pros and cons of various oversight models, legal requirements, collective
bargaining limitations, or other issues. The planning group should include a perspective from
law enforcement.
