The subject site has sat empty for over 10 years and had been an eyesore in the neighborhood. In these times of COVID 19, any new retailers are a huge benefit to the community. I also understand from the applicant that the proposed fueling station will contribute over $200,000 annually in tax revenue to the city. This is a win-win all around and we should be thankful that this retailer wants to come to Santa Ana and wants to invest money to build new retail!
