Re: 1641 E. Saint Andrew for the Conditional Use Permit No. 2020-16 to allow a Type-21 (off-
saleGeneral) Alcoholic Beverage Control license.
At this time, I do not object nor approve, but have some questions as an immediate neighbor to the
applicant. My questions or comments are:
Concern if take away sales are made, people drinking alcohol in their cars in the large, out of
the way parking lot.
Can more information be provided regarding “instructional seminar tastings” as noted in the
Notice of Public Hearings.
If private, “wine tastings” are done out of the industrial building at 1641 E. Saint Andrew, I would not
have any objection.
If drinking carries to outside the building, this would be a problem which I would object.
If onsite, retail sales is the intention, I could have some objections if the type of sales is more like a
liquor store type sales.
From what I understand, this is a wine auction company, selling higher end wines, which would not
attract the typical people buying alcohol at a typical liquor store, thus I would not have any
objections.
I own two buildings immediately adjacent to the subject property.
