Hello,
My name is Maria and I am a resident of Santa Ana. We live on 3rd street, the next block over from
the proposed Northgate Project.
I am opposed to this project because of its huge size and number of units that will create a lot more
population density and traffic in the area. This will compromise our neighborhood. I understand
the structures will be 5 to 7 stories high….. more levels than the city currently permits. This is too
much. Why not keep this at a 2 level size similar to the housing on 6th and Lacy. It’s beautiful
housing which maintains the quality and appearance of the neighborhood.
Our block consists of mostly single family homes, which many are owned by some of my family. We
have lived here for decades and want our neighborhood to remain as tranquil as possible.
