of a second carpool lane in each direction on 1-5
between SR-55 and SR-57 The carpool lanes have
been restriped to make it easier for motorists to
get in and out of them, The project;

In May, the OCTA board awarded Santa Ana with:
o $5.6 million for improvements to Fairview Street

o $3 million to synchronize traffic signals along First Street/Bolsa Avenue

• Providing nearly $973,000 to Santa Ana for local streets rehab
and maintenance projects
• No local match is required
• Deadline to submit project proposals to OCTA is Feb. 28, 2022
