Subject: Cypress Street Fire Station
Dear Mayor and Councilmembers,
We as residents of Pacific Park Neighborhood are in full support of having a second location for The PAAL Program in our
neighborhood. The PAAL Program has proven to be of great help for the youth in the west side of the city. The PAAL
Program provides homework help, art classes, sports among many other great and positive activities for our youth. We
look forward to having it in our neighborhood. In addition, we look forward to having a police substation at the current
Cypress Street Fire Station. As you may already know that area of Bishop and Cypress has been known to be a high
crime area. A police substation would mitigate crime activity.
We look forward to working together to help our neighborhood, and breath life back into the Cypress Street Fire Station.
