A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING A SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR
THE CITY MANAGER BASED ON EMPLOYEE
PERFORMANCE
WHEREAS, City of Santa Ana("City") and Kristine Ridge ("City Manager") entered
into that certain Employment Agreement dated March 19, 2019 (hereinafter "Employment
Agreement"), whereby Employee agreed to serve as the City Manager of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana City Charter and Employment Agreement provides
that the City Council shall conduct an annual performance evaluation of the City Manager;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted such evaluation on August 1, 2023 resulting
in positive performance appraisal; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a salary adjustment for the City
Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves an annual salary for the City
Manager of $326,181 ("Annual Salary") retroactively effective July 1, 2022. The Annual
Salary shall be payable in installment payments in the same manner and at the same
times as salaries of other executive managers of the City are paid.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The Mayor shall sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk shall attest
to and certify to the passage and adoption thereof.
