CM t ton) f PTHIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on August 23, 2023, by
and between Victoria Tafoya Maldonado f/s/o Vicky Tafoya and the Big Beat ("Contractor"), and the City
of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and
laws of the State of California ("City").

C�j A. On July 12, 2023, the City and the Contractor entered into Agreement No. N-2023-197
("Agreement), for Contractor to provide a live musical performance at the City of Santa Ana's 2023
cn Chicano Heritage Festival. The agreement runs through the date of the performance on August 27,
2023 and is current and in -effect.
B. Prior to the event, the parties determined that additional funding was required to reimburse the
Contractor for insurance coverage costs required by the Agreement.
C. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to increase the overall compensation amount by $279.49.
There are no other changes contemplated by this Amendment
The Parties therefore agree:
1. Section 2.a., Compensation, is amended to increase the total amount to be expended during the
term of this Agreement in an amount not to exceed $3,279.49.
2. Except as modified by this Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement, as amended,
shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to the Agreement on
the date and year first written above.
