○Starting January 1, 2024, a new law in California offers Medi-Cal to adults ages 26 to 49,
regardless of immigration status
Medi-Cal is not considered a public charge
○If you know someone who needs health care, have them look into whether they are eligible for Medi-Cal
Eligibility is based on income level
○CalOptima Health will be partnering with the County of Orange
Social Services Agency (SSA) on Adult Expansion
