AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN
ELECTIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 131?.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That City Ordinance No. 1317 fixing compensation
of certain elective officers is hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 2. That on and after December l, 1952 the salaries
of those certain elective officers of the City of Santa Ana whose
titles are herein set out, shall be as herein designated:
The CITY ATTORNE~ shall receive a salary of $440.00 per month.
The CITY CLERK shall receive a salary of $440.00 per month.
The CITY MARSHALL shall receive a salary of $550.00 per
month.

The salaries next hereinabove fixed and established shall
be payable monthly.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three
issues of the Santa Ana Register, a newspaper printed, published,
and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for
that purpose. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the day on which it is passed and adopted.

Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the

Clerk of the City of Santa Ana; and ex-officio Clerk of the City
Council of the City of Santa Ana; tha~ the foregoing Ordinance was
regularly introduced and read to the said Council at its regular
meeting held on the 6th day of October, 1952 and was again read to
the Council at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of October,
1952 and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to-wit:
