AN ORDINANCE AMENDING "SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE" BY AMENDING
ARTICLE IX THU~EOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
AND BY AMENDING SHEET NUMBER 33 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW
THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa ann has
given notice of public hearings as required by law in connection
with an application for change of District classification to cover
the property herei~ described and has duly held two public hearings
upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No.
~66 recommended such change to the City Council for adoption; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of pub-
lic hearing and such public hearing has been duly and regularly held
and the Council does mow find that public necessity, convenience,
and general welfare require the following amendment and change in
'the present classification of the real property hereinafter de-
scribed and that the uses under the proposed new classificatiom will
mot be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa
Ann, County of Orange, State of California described as:
The east 550 feet of the North 150 feet of Lot 1
of Tract No. 905 as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 32 at page 16 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, CaLifornia,
be reclassified from R-2 (Limited-Multiple Residence District) to
the C-2 (General Commercial District) and that Sheet N~mber 33 of
the Districting Map of Article IX of the -Santa Ann Municipal Code"
be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three issues
of the Santa Ann Register, a newspaper printed, published, and cir-
culated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby designated for that
purpose. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after
the day on which it is passed and adopted.
