DISTRICTING ~l~P TO SHOVf THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann has
given notice of public hearings as required by law in connection
with an application for change of District classification to cover
the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings
upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No.
58~ recommended the change hereinbelow set out to the City Council
for adoption; and
~¥HEREAS, t~e City Council gave due and regular notice of public
hearing and such public hearing has been regularly held and the
Council does now find that public necessity, convenience, and general
welfare require the following amendment and change in the present
classification of the real property hereinafter described and that
the uses under the proposed new classification will not be detri-
mental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa
~na, County of Orange, State of California, desc.ribed as:
That certain property on the North side of West Wash-
ington Avenue between College Avenue and English Street
described as follows:
Lots 2 through ll and X, Block A; and Lots i through 3,
Block B, Tract No. ~51, M.M. 16-~l
be reclassified from R-1 (Single Family Residence District) to
R-2 (Limited-~ultiple Residence District) and that Sheets Numbered
23 and 26 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ann
~unicipal Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with-
in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Inde-
pendent, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall
take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
