NS-32 APPROVINGT~EAENEXATIONOF THAT CERTA~I~TERR~NATED "CHRISTESONANN=xATION" WB]~J~S, the 0ity Council of the City of Santa Aaa did on the 18th day of January, 1955 by Resolution No. 54-7, declare its inten- tion to annex certain uninhabited territory contiguous to said City, w~ich said Resolution was regularly published in the Santa Ann Inde- pendent, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City, and in the Costa Mesa Globe Herald, a newspaper of general circulation published outside of said 0ity but in the County of Orange, California, said publications being made once a week for two consec- utive weeks prior to the public hearing on said proposed annexation which said public hearing was set by said Resolution for the let day of March, 1955; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections to said pro- posed annexation and no written protest was filed by any person against the sams; NOW, TH]~KEFORE, T~E CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF SA1T2AA2~DOES ORDAIN ASFOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held upon due no- tice regularly given in all respects as required by the statutes and as hereinabove set out and in the files of this proceeding more par- ticularly shown, we do find, declare and ordain that there is and was no protest nor objection, either written or oral, to the annexation of the territory herein described to the City of Santa Ana, that due and regular notice of the time and place of hearing was given as re- quired by law and that said territory is and was wholly uninhabited and that no person lives thereon; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California. SECTION 2. That all of the unimhablted territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California,:~ described as follows: That portion of the South one-half of Lot 13 of the Ports, Borden and Sidwell TTaOt, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 5 at page 625 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Begimmi~g at an ang~eaP°intA~ in the existing boundary lime of the City of Santa , said angle point being in the center line of Memory Lane as show~ on a Map of Tract No. 1825, as said map thereof is recorded in Book 53, at pages 10 and 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of 0range County, Oalifornia, said angle point being distant along said center line of Memory Lane 180 feet West of the Center line of Flower Street as shown on said map of Tract No. 1825, and running thence West, along said center line of Memory Lane and said Boundary of the City of Santa Ann, 786.81 feet; thence North 0v 03' 39" West 660.9~ feet {Record 661.05 feet) to a point in the North lime of said South half of said Lot 13; thence South 89° 59' 55" East, along said North line, 785 feet to said existing boumdary line of the City of Santa Ann; thence South 0 18' 15" East, along said boundary line, 660.97 feet (Record 661.05 feet) to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Ana and the annexation of said territory is by this Or- dinance.effected, approved, and declared to take effect from and after' the effective date of this Ordinance and shall be and continue a part of said City. SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- ease of this 0rdinanoe and shall cause the same to be published with- in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Inde- pendent, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
