CODE BY AMENDING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATIN.'~ CHANGES
IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY AMENDING SHEET NO. 22
OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana
has given notice of public hearings as required by law and has duly
held two public hearings in connection with an application for change
of District Classification and by Resolution No. 633 recommended to
the City Council the change heraimbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare ~equire the
following amendment and change in classification and that the
uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to
the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY C0b~CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIi.~ AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Lots I through ll both inclusive and lot 250 of
Tract No. 1724, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, Pages 25 and 26 of Miscellaneous Maps
be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-2 District and that
sheet No. 22 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana
Municipal Code be amended to a~ow such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be publiShed,
within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date Of its adoption.
