NS-78 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGE IN DIS- TRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 30 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIPICATION T~HEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 719 recommended to the City Council the chsmge requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience ~nd general welfare require the following smendment ~nd that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ~ECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, l~ and 16 in Block ll of the"South Side Addition" as shown on a Map in Book 3, page 4b, Miscellaneous Maps, Official Records of said Orange County, be reclassified From R-3 District to the C-1 District and that Sheet No. 30 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be mmended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date oF its adoption.
