HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-103ORDINANCE NO.NS-103 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUND- ARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 46 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECIASSIFICATION. W/iEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with a City Council initiated change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 792 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW~ THE~EFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point in the center line of Edinger Street, dis- taut 2641.92 feet Westerly from the intersection of the center line of Edin~er Street with the center line of Bristol Street; thence South O~ 11' 40" West 1071.21 feet to a point; thence South 89° k~3' 40" West 1214.40 feet to a point$ thence North 2© 45' 36" West 60.05 feet to a point; thence South 89© ~9' 40" West 59.67 feet to the East line of Center Street; thence North 0° 30' 20" West along the East line of Center Street and its Northerly extension 1011.13 feet to the center line of Edinger Street; thence North 89° 9' ~" East along the center line of Edinger Street 1289.52 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING T~EREFROM that portion in Edinger Street. All bearings and distances are as shown on a licensed Surveyor's ~ap filed in Book 27, page 28, of Record of Survey in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California; be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-2 District and that Sheet No. 46 of the Districting Map of A~ticle IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
