THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "LENd, ER ANNEX"
WI~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on
May 2, 1955 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited terri-
tory by Resolution No. 55-119, which said Resolution was regularly
published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice
of public hearing to be held on June 20, 1955; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEEEFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana,
California; that written consent of all the owners w as filed with the
Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agree-
ing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any
indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing
at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed·
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1. Beginning at a point in the existing boundary
line of the City of Santa Ana, said point being in the South
line of Lot 14, of the Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 4, at page 624 of Miscella-
neous Records, records of Los A~ngeles County, California, said
point also being distant North 89° 53' ~0" West 468.00 feet
from the Southeast corner of said Lot 14; thence North 0° 01'
50" East 202.00 feet to a point; thence North 89° 53' 50" West
70.00 feet to a point; thence South 0° Ol' 50" West 202.00 feet
to a point in the South line of said Lot 14; thence South 89°
53' 50" East 70.00 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2. Beginning at a point in the existing boundary line
~of the City of Santa Ana, said point being in the South line of
Lot 14, of the Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 4, at page 624 of Miscellaneous Records,
records of Los ~A~o~eles County, California, said point also being
distant North 8 ' 0"

net of said Lot 14, thence North 0 01 50 East 202.00 feet to
a point; thence North 89° 53' 50" West 150.00 feet to a point;
thence South 0° 01' 50" West 202.00 feet to a point in the
South line of said Lot /4; thence South 89° 53' 50" East
150.00 feet to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ana, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa
Aha High School District, and Santa Aha Junior College District, and
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue o£ the Santa Ana In-
dependent. This Ordinance shallt ake effect 30 days from and after
the date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~th day of Ju3q¥ , 1955.

Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said
Council held on the 20th day of June , 1955, and was again
considered by 'said Council at its regular meeting held on the ...5.th
day of July , 1955, and was at said meeting regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
