PORTION OF THE CITY BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WH~HEAS, heretofore, there has been dispute and some uncer-
tainty as to a certain portion of the exterior boundary of the City
of ~anta Ana, South of East First Street as described in Ordinance
No. 73, which it is desirable to fix for all.purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
· ECTION 1. That in order to clarify and make certain, the
course in the description contained in Ordinance No. 73, which runs
Southerly from a point on East First Street which is~.5 chains
East of the Northwest corner of Section 17, Township 5 South, Range
9 West, Sau~e~nardtno Base & Meridian, to a point which is 24.5
chains East and 5 chains South of the Northwest Corner of ~ectton 20,
Township 5 South, Range 9 West, said course is hereby established and
declared to run as follows:
Thence Southerly, from a point on East First Street
10.00 feet Westerly from the Monumented Center line of
Lyon Street, to a point on McFadden Street l0 feet
Westerly from the Monumented Center Line of Lyon Street;
thence Westerly along said center line of McFadden Street
c~.5 feet; thence Southerly to a point which is 24.50
atns East and 5.00 chains South of the Northwest Corner
of Section 20, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, San Bernardino
Base & Meridian.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this 0'rdinance and shall cause the same to be published with-
in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent.
This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of
its adoption.

at its regular meeting held on the 3~d day of October , 1955.
