NS-141 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND ADDING SHEET NO. 53 TO THE DISTRICTING NAP TO SHOW THE RE- CLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica- tion for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 866 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that pub- lic necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: The South 501' of the North 997' of the East 460' of Block "I" of Revised Plat of West Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book l, Page 13, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, be reclassified from R-1 District to the C-2 District and that a new Sheet to be Numbered 53 be added to the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, with- in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independ- ent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. at PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana its regular meeting held on the 21st day of No.~ember , 1955.
