NS-161 A~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF ~HE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL COD~ 'CREATING' CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND A.~ENDING SHEET NO. 25 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RE- CLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica- tion for change of ~istrict classification and by Resolution No. 925 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrou~ property. NOW, THEREFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of ~ange, State of California, described as: A parcel of land bounded Westerly by the City Limits Line, bounded Easterly by the Weste~y line of Tracts Nos. 1478, 1724, and 2122, and bounded Northerly by the Westerly ex- tension of the Northerly line of Tract No. 2122, be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-2 District and that Sheet No. 25 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
