CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SCHOOL AIO PARK A~X NO. 2"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the .City of Santa Aha did on
February 6, 19%~ declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 56-28, w~ich said Resolution was regular-
ly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due
notice of public hearing to be held on March 19, 1956; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory is 6ontiguous to the City of Santa Ana,
California; that the owners of all the territory to be annexed have
petitioned for annexation and have filed with the Clerk of the Council,
prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, written consent, agreeing that
all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebted-
ness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing'at the
time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
A portion of the Kuffel and Fletcher Tract as shown on a
map recorded in Book 19, at Page 48, of Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point distant North 87° 44' 45" East 1627.74
feet and North 1° 00' 20" West 30.01 feet from the intersection
of the center lines of 01d Newport Road and Delhi Road, as shown
on a Licensed Surveyors Map filed in Book 7, at Page 9 of Record
of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California, said point of beginning being in the North line of
Delhi Road, 60.00 feet wide; thence North 1° 00' 20" West 1052.73
feet to a point in the present boundary line of the City of Santa
Aha, said line being delineated on a License? Surveyors Map filed
in Book 28, at Page 47 of Record of Surveys mn the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County; thence North 88° 48' 20"
East along said line and the Easterly extension thereof, '827.19
feet to a point; thence South 1° 00, 20" East 1037.43 fset to a
point in said North line of Delhi Road; thence South 87
Rest along said North line, 82?.38 feet to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ana, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa
Ana High School District and Santa Ana Junior College District, and said
annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within
days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent.
This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of
its final adoption.

19th day of March , 1956, and was again consider~d by said Council

was at said meeting regularly pass'ed and adopted by said Council by the
