CERTAIN TERRITORT DESIGNATED "BULLOCK'S ANI~X"
~tEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on
February 2?, 19~6 declare its intention to annex certain uninhab-
ited territory by Resolution Mo. ~-~6, which said Resolution was
regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution
gave due notice of public hearing to be held on Nay ?, 19~6~ and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLIDWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri-
tory was wholly uninhabited at ~e time the petition for annexation
waa filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa
Ana, California; that written consent of all the owners was filed
with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance,
agreeing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to
pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to
or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall
be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the 43rd Annex of
the City of Orange, as shown on Instrument Number 6764 filed
with the Office of the County Recorder on January 20, 19~,
County of Orange, State of California; thence Southerly along
the Southerly extension of the Westerly line of said 43rd Annex
to its intersection with the Northerly Santa Aha City Limits
line as established by the City of Santa Ana Ordinance Number
907, called the "West of Orange Road Addition", passed on
December ~0, 1929; thence Easterly along said City of ~anta Ana
boundary to its intersection with the West line of North ~ain
Street; thence Northerly along said West line of North ~ain
~treet to its intersection with the South line of said 4 rd
Annex of the City of Orange; thence Westerly along said South
line o£ said 4~d Annex to the point of beginning,
be and the s a~e is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ana, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa
Aha High School District and Santa Ana Junior College District, and
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with-
in t5 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Inde-
pendent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the
date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of May , 1956.

Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said
Council held on the 7th day of M~ , 1956, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 21st
day of M~M , 1956, and was at said meeting regularly passed
and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
