SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHA~NGES IN DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 6 OF THE DISTRICTING
MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WPLEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given
notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amend-
ment Application No. 185 for change of District Classification,
and initiated proceedings to modify the proposed District Classi-
fication, by adding thereto -PK to require certain parking areas,
and held a public hearing thereon, and recommended to the City
Council the change requested and the addition of said modification;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fol-
lowing amendment and that the uses under the new classification
will not. be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Arm,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the tract allotted
to Maria Ygnacio Alvarado de Moreno, in partition of the
Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, in case No. 1192, of the
late 17th Judicial District Court in and for Los Angeles
County, California, said point of beginning also being
the intersection of the center lines of Grand Avenue and
Seventeenth Street; and running thence South 477.1 feet;
thence West 365.2 feet; thence North 477.1 feet; thence
East 365.2 feet to the point of beginning,
be reclassified from R-l, R-2 and C Districts to the C-1-PK Dis-
trict and that Sheet No. 6 of the Districting Map of Article IX of
the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassifi-
cation.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Aha
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of
August , 1956.

Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said
Council held on the 16th day of Julz , 1956, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 6th
day of August , 1956 and was at said meeting regularly
passed and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
