SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 9 OF THE DISTRICTING
MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice
of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment
Application No. 187 for change of District Classification, and
recommended to the City Council the change requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gavedue notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fol-
lowing amendment and that the uses under the new classification will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as a triangular-
shaped parcel of property located on the south side of Grace Street
approximately 120 feet west of Linwood Avenue and bounded on ~he
southwest by East Washington Place, and further described as:
Lots 6, 8, and 10, of Cullom's Addition, except
portions thereon in the Freeway
be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-3 District and that Sheet
No. 9 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ama
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of August , 1956.

Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said
Council held on the 16th day of July , 1956 and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 6th
day of August , 1956 and was at said meeting regularly passed
and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
